          Student Survey I is designed for students in grades 3-5 (although it has been used successfully at the 1st and 2nd grade levels).
          Student Survey II is designed for students in grades 6-12.
          If you order a student survey, we send you both versions at the single survey price. (Some of our client schools have grade configurations that include both grades five and six. These schools – whether they are K-6, K-12, or some other configuration – use both surveys.)

          The Parent, Student II, and Staff surveys are designed to be administered as written questionnaires.
          The Student I survey (for grades 3-5) is designed to be administered by a classroom teacher or another responsible adult. Students are provided with an answer sheet on which to record their responses.
          The Community Survey is designed to be administered as a written questionnaire.

PRICING INFORMATION

          Master copies of the Student I, Student II, Parent, and Staff Surveys are $95 each or all four for $235. (You can make as many copies as you need from each master.) Each survey master that you purchase can be used twice by your school (e.g., as a benchmark survey and then as a follow-up in two or three years ... or at the conclusion of the accreditation process).
          Each of the master surveys is registered to a school (not a school district), and may be used only by that school.
          The Community Survey is also $95. It is designed for administration across a school district, and, like the other surveys, the master can be used twice by the school district to produce as many copies as needed.

          Yes. We can cross-tab any variables. For example, we can tell you how all females or all 11th graders, or all 6th grade parents answered all the questions. You decide which variables, if any, you want cross-tabulated. Cross-tabulations of data are $50 each.

          We charge $850 for the first survey report, $550 for the second report, and $450 for each additional survey report. For example, if you want an analysis and report for one survey – student, parent, community, or staff – the charge is $850. If you want an analysis and report for two surveys, the charge is $850 + $550 or $1,400. If you want an analysis and report for three surveys, the charge is $850 + $550 + 450 or $1,850.
          If you administer both student surveys, we only charge an analysis and report fee for one.
          For the first analysis and report, the $850 fee provides you with …

• a graphic display of your composite scores (including Organizational Effectiveness, Transition Competencies, Learning Expectations, and Instructional Adequacy) which we develop with our proprietary formula. Your composite scores will be displayed against the running average scores of other schools that have completed the survey.

• Focal Points, BB&C’s recommendations regarding areas needing priority attention.

          For each additional analysis and report, the fee provides you with …

• a graphic display of composite scores (using our proprietary formula) for each survey. Your composite scores will be displayed against the running average score of other schools that have completed the survey.

• a comparison of student, staff, and/or parent surveys on our proprietary Instructional Adequacy composite. We’ll also provide you with mean scores on each of the dimensions of the Instructional Adequacy composite.

• graphic displays showing comparable composite scores for the parent and high school student surveys.

• comparisons of matching questions from the parent and high school student surveys (allowing you to see how parents and students answered similar questions).

• Focal Points, BB&C’s recommendations regarding areas needing priority attention.

          The questionnaires are designed to be licensed to a single school. Hence, every school would need to purchase the master questionnaires, and contract for coding, tabulation, and/or report services.

          We do, however, provide a cost-saving option for districts. It is only available if we code and tabulate the data and write reports. We treat the entire district as a “school.” Each school in the school district administers the questionnaires. We code and tabulate the data and write a report for the school district. Then we cross-tabulate the data by school. This results in a master report for the district and cross-tabulations of the data for each school. Hence, the district gets a report and so does each school!

          The costs associated with this option are: 1) the purchase of one master copy of each questionnaire; 2) 95 cents per completed questionnaire (answer sheet) that we code and tabulate; 3) regular report charges; and, 4) $50 for each cross-tabulation of the data.           Once you purchase a questionnaire, you can tabulate it (code open-end questions and computer process the data), analyze it, and write your own report of findings.

          Or, you can contract with BB&C to tabulate your surveys.

          Or, you can contract with BB&C to tabulate your surveys and write a report (which includes proprietary composite scores, an analysis, comparisons against the running average of other schools, and an Executive Summary of the findings).

         Note that we do not invoice you for questionnaires until we deliver them. However, we do require an authorized purchase order or a fifty percent cash deposit if you want BB&C to code and tabulate your questionnaires and/or write a report. The purchase order or deposit can be sent to us when you send the completed answer sheets.
